Unable to unhide disks

Thread needs solution

I have a multi boot system (Windows XP, Windows 7 and Ubuntu) There are several additional disks on the computer. One of these disks on the system has three old operating systems in three partitions (Windows XP, Windows Me and Windows 98). These systems do not run but have files that need to be transferred to the new systems.

The old systems are available in Windows 7, but when I try to look at them in the new Windows XP the partitions do not show up. When looking at the with Disk DIrector 11 they show as hidden. I have had Disk Director 11 unhide them and they show up in Disk Director 11 as unhidden, but do not show up in Windows XP. When I reboot the system they again show up as hidden in Disk Director 11.

Any suggestions on how to have them available in Windows XP would be appreciated.
Thanks, Fran

What boot manager are you using (Windows, OSS, etc.)?

Do you have your boot manager hiding the partitions when you boot into XP?

Can you post a screenshot of what DD shows in Windows 7 and XP?
