Urgent help needed please...
Hi all, after installing DiskDirector, the program asked me something about OS choice... I must say I've been very bad and clicked through. My mistake.
Now my PC won't boot. It totally skips the F8 bootscreen so I cannot chose, then shows the message : "Failed to read from the sector 63 from disk 2". No mater what I press, ignore, retry, cancel, nothing works...
Any idea please, I'm stuck!!
Thanks
mic

Do you have a bootable media version of DD that you can boot from? If not, you can download the ISO image file from your account. Perhaps you could boot into DD from this and uninstall OS Selector? MudCrab would provide the best guidance - he should show up a little later (it is still fairly early in the morning here in the western US).

Check that the BIOS boot order is correct. It's possible that the wrong drive is booting.
Is OSS now installed or uninstalled? If it's installed, do you get the OSS menu?
If the OSS programs are on the DD CD, you can boot to it to either reactivate OSS or uninstall. Please note that these programs are not included by default. You may need to make another CD that includes them. If this doesn't work, the MBR will need to be repaired manually.
What version of Windows are you using?
What version and build of DD/OSS are you using?
Is "Disk 2" an internal drive or an external drive? If external, disconnect it and try booting.
