WD My Book Essential USB HDD (3TB) not recognised by Disk Director

Does anyone know anything about this problem?

I recently bought a WD My Book Essential USB HDD (3TB)

Running Vista HPSP2
1. ADD 10 showed the disk as basic disk with unknown file system (Actually NTFS)
2. Upgraded to ADD11 2343 - disk not listed at all
3. ATI2012 in Vista and ATI2012 bootable version seems to handle the disk OK
4. ADD11 bootable version sees the disk as unintialised
