Windows 7 on two Partitions

Thread needs solution

Hello folks, I got to Windows 7 on two different Hard Drives.
One is Windows 7 32bit and the other Windows7 64bit

How can I make the Acronis OS Selector to work properly.
The main Window7 ( in my case the 32bit ) will always boot from
the os selector, but not the other window.

This Have to do with the flags, if I use a Boot Manager from a CD
and set the flags manually, I an get any Partition to work and boot
properly, if I guessing right, I think have to do with Hiding the partition.
But I don't know much about this, the point is manually everything is OK.

My Version is Acronis Disk Director 11. Thans

Any help will be well appreciated, I tire of inserting a CD to select the OS.

Hello Orlando,

could you please provide more details about your scenario?

Is your second operation system (Windows 7x64) detected and listed in main window of OS Selector under Windows?

Please also clarify what you mean under "boot manager from a CD"

Thank you in advance for your answers!

There are 2 Hard Drives, each with a Bootable Partition, on have Windows 7 32 the other Windows 7 64
The seens like the OS Selector, does not set properly the flags, because when I switch from Win32 to
Win64, it just boot and stay on the very beginning when you see the Windows Icon / Logo

If I get out and re-boot with my Paragon Bootable Disk Manager, I can see the flags are wrong.
If I set the flag to Unhide & Active, and the other to Hidden & Not Active, everything works.

Hi Orlando,

actually the situation looks very strange.

We can check if a new installation of OS Selector helps here:

1) please boot from Acronis bootable media

2) deactivate and remove OS selector

3) check if both Windows installations can be booted correctly

4) install Acronis OS selector anew on the other drive (not on the same you have it on now).

Thank you.

What do you don't understand?

I already said, I can set the flags my self on the desired windows, and will boot perfectly.
