write boot sector in general properties acronis disk director 10

Thread needs solution

Doesn't anybody understand what this setting means? Isn't there any product specialists on this board? I'm on disability income and it's hard for me to pay for called tech support. Why is it every time I have a question nobody knows the answer. Look at the posts on this board, I'd say well over 90% of them are answered or at least replied to.

I guess I'm too far advanced for most, if not all, users. All I want to know is turning on "write boot sector" in general properties of Acronis Boot Manager in Disk Director Suite 10 will hurt my 3 windows partitions on my first hard drive (linux is installed in the second and I set it up to boot from the root partition, not the MBR).

Please, any product developer, tell me what this setting does. It's not in your doc for Disk Director Suite. All that's in the doc is that the setting exists, not what it does, not what turning it on or off will do with different operating systems, nothing, nada, I can't stand when there is no doc for a setting like this.

Someone PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Thank You,

Bob
