Does it appear as running in Windows Task Manager?
If you right click on the Windows Error reporting message, you should be able to get a system dump and show what Widnows thinks is the cause. This might also appear in Windows Event Manager (right click on My computer, select Manage, select Event Reporting).
Hi Colin, thank you for your response.

both ways does the same: when click shortcut from desktop or click system tray WerFault.exe popup and i see no adm window. system tray icon is still available. try it again, and again crash.

from event manager i have following massages, but it is in polish, so i try to translate but it may be not accurate, you must be smart ;)
name of the application which cause error: adm.exe, wersja: 1.0.0.192, sygnatura czasowa: 0x4c1a0125
modul name error: snapapi.dll, wersja: 3.8.0.499, sygnatura czasowa: 0x4b0d6a07

path to application which make error: C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\DriveMonitor\adm.exe
then another one (the same time):

modul name error: snapapi.dll, wersja: 3.8.0.499, sygnatura czasowa: 0x4b0d6a07

path app which cause error: C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\DriveMonitor\adm_console.exe
path module which cause error: C:\Users\prosty\AppData\Local\Temp\dl8FB5E\snapapi.dll
i think that's all you asked.

i ve just checked out that i have 580 files named snapapi.dll on my system (most of them in c:\windows\temp dierctory). all of them have acronis digital sign. it doesn't look to me right. am i wrong?

SnapAPI is the file that Acronis use to provide access to disks.
You shouldn't have that amount of snapapi files - one or two at most, and they shouldn't be in the temp directory you mention. In fact it is unusual for W7 to use that directory, it normally uses the temp directory under your User\Local directory.
I would delete all the entries in the temp directory and then check in Windows\System32 to see if there is a SnapAPI file there (which is where it should be).
Do you have any other Acronis products installed?

i deleted all files in c:\windows\temp but when i try to run adm after that it crashed again and another snapapi.dll appear in that directory. so everytime i try to run adm there is another snapapi.dll created in temp in subfolder.
i think original location of this dll is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Acronis but i don't have it on my system32 folder. maybe that is the problem? i don't know. let me remind you that i have win7 64 bit.
as i mentioned in my first post i have also installed acronis true image home 2011.
thank you for your help. it's pitty that adm dont work beacuse it is very usefull tool and best of its kind.

I also use W7 64 bit, there are no Acronis components in the temp directory.
It should be in C:\Windows\System32\drivers and is build 600
Uninstall ADM, reboot and try again is the only suggestion I can think of at the moment.
