ADM:566 and ABR11 do not speak to each other.

Thread needs solution

ADM does not recognise that ABR11 has performed any backups.

On the Backup page the 'Back up now' button is greyed out.

Note. For some reason ABR11 doesn't seem to offer context menu in explorer on 64 bit systems, so if ADM uses these registry entries to recognise backups, this might be why it isn't working in this regard.

Hello Colin!

Thank you for finding time to open the thread regarding this question!

Acronis Drive Monitor hasn't been updated yet, so we do not guarantee its compatibility with the Acronis Backup and Recovery 11. I have forwarded the message to the Development team for additional details, as soon as I have any news, I will update the thread.

Regarding the context menu in explorer: it should be present only in case the Management Console is present on the machine, as the shell extention is installed only alongside with this product component. However, if the Console is installed correctly, and the issue remains, we will need to investigate the cause. Could you please send us Acronis Info and screenshots?

Let us know is there's anything we can help you with.

Thank you!

Hello Colin!

I've just received a small update from the Development team:

we're filing a bug regarding this issue, as it should be supported in ABR 11, and we will work on resolving the issue.

We would be really grateful if you could send us the Acronis Info from the problem machine, it would be useful for our Tester's team.

If the issues with the ADM and context menu occurred on the machine, one common AcroInfo will be more than enough.

Thank you once again for your cooperation!

Two comments:
1. If you SELECT (i.e. left-mouse click) the appropriate drive, the 'BACKUP NOW' will go from grey to black ...
2. BUT - this is of no help, as we promptly crash when we (apparently) arrive in ABR-11 ... (Same result if one goes right-mouse click on the selected drive)

This is a pretty solid failure - you won't need any additional 'Acronis Info' ....

Nachwievor zeigt Drive Monitor an "Keine Backups ausgeführt".
