Cannot delete errors from Drive Monitor

System: Windows 7 Home Premium, SP 1, 64 bit

An external hard drive had some bad blocks & this was picked up by Drive Monitor. Now that I have gotten rid of this hard drive, I want to stop Drive Monitor from periodically reminding me of these errors since the hard drive no longer exists. However Drive Monitor keeps popping up with a message that there are serious errors on a disk. I want to stop this pop-up. I went into Windows 7 Event Viewer & cleared the 'System' log so that the error messages in Event Viewer were deleted. However Drive Monitor still is periodically popping up the message that tells me that there are serious disk errors. And when I launch Drive Monitor, I can see the errors.

So -- how do I delete the errors in Drive Monitor? I see no option to clear the log? What am I missing?
