Custom scripts - how to know what to put in them ?
Thread needs solution
SMART works for my SATA disks on the motherboard, but not for the SATA disk on an add-in card. I tried using S.M.A.R.T. Monitoring Tools; they showed the disk information just fine, so my system is capable of it. Reading the Disk Director help file, it seems that the solution should be a custom script but I have NO idea what to do to the Sample ADM custom script for Intel(R) RAID controllers provided to make it work for my PCI card, Seagate disk (I tried it, it didn't !). The manual suggests there are custom scripts on here, but I can't find them. Help, please.
