Every partition/drive unremovably listed on Taskbar

Thread needs solution

Windows XP Pro SP3, Intel MB, Intel Core 2 Duo. 4GB. 3 SATA HDD, ADM gives useful data regarding drives, but

the Taskbar gets filled with listing of 4 or more partitions/drives, which render the Taskbar unusable.

I can't remove them even after uninstalling ADM.

Had to Restore from Restore point preceding the installation of ADM.

I would really like to use ADM. It's data is very useful to me, but I can't operate without the Taskbar.

When you say task bar are you referring to the Windows system tray or the ADM GUI?

I'm referring to the Windows task bar that shows all the open programs/apps, which most people put at the bottom of the window.

If you move the mouse over them do they disappear?

This is very odd behaviour, as in my XP SP3 32 bit, ADM sits in the system tray, however I only have one partition in my VM and of course SMART doesn't operate in VM's.

Could you please show some screen shots?

Is this a standard XP SP3 install? By that I mean is it one provided by a computer manufacturer or is it any special non standard version?
