Windows Application Event log full of errors from Acronis Scheduler
Windows XP Pro SP3
TI Home 2009 Build 9796
Drive Monitor 1.0 Build 507
I originally posted this in the TI Home forum, but then I figured out that the problem is more likely related to Drive Monitor.
The Application Event log is full of errors like this:
Scheduler is unable to run task with GUID 'C73DF26C-DA36-4B34-A03E-033834498780' because of error 2 (Failed to find the file (folder) or the key (value) in the registry.).
They come EVERY MINUTE, sometimes with multiple entries in a single minute with different GUIDs.
These errors appear to have been caused by my uninstalling "Drive Monitor."
On a hunch, I re-installed Drive Monitor and the errors went away.
I don't need Drive Monitor on this PC; how can I uninstall it and get rid of the errors in the Application Event Log?

Do you happen to know if the GUID match your TIH tasks? I ask as I'm unsure if the problem would be solved by running Task Zapper to remove what might be ghost tasks or updating the scheduler.
I'm not sure how uninstalling ADM has caused the problem, have you tried uninstalling again just to see if the problem reappears?
I unistalled Drive Monitor again and the error messages started almost immediately (on the next minute, probably).
I ran Acronis Schedule Manager, did a "get list" and none of the GUIDs in the error messages matches anything I see there. In fact, there's no mention of Drive Monitor at all.
I installed Drive Monitor again and the error messages stopped immediately.
Apparently having Drive Monitor installed but not running is enough to keep the error messages away, but that's not really a very nice solution.

Have you thought of, uninstalling ADM, running a TIH2009 repair install?
There was supposed to be a new build of ADM in the pipeline, but it seems to have got lost somewhere :(
I wonder if anyone else has ADM and TIH2009 installed and has the same problem.
