Acronis for Exchange won't truncate transaction log files.

Thread needs solution

Hello,

Just purchased Acronis for Exchange recently. I just setup a schedule backup to perform a full backup, then daily incremental backup. A full backup was done, and then the day after 1st incremental backup was also done but transaction log files are not truncated. Why?
I read through documents and they said in most cases logs should be truncated.
I'm now lost, could you enlighten me? Thanks.

Having the same issue. We have three servers all set up identically (Windows Server 2003, Acronis Recovery for Exchange, Exchange 2007). Two of the servers have intermittent issues with the backup not running until the Exchange server is rebooted. These two have the transaction logs truncated each day after the backups. One of them works like clock-work, BUT it does not have the transaction logs truncated. This is our work-horse server where all data comes into the company then routes the messages to the correct locations. We also have BlackBerry services and an IT service ticket public database. This server fills up after only three weeks without having the transaction logs truncated. I'm having a lot of issues with this. When I called Acronis support, their response was since the transactions logs are a Windows issue, I needed to contact Microsoft. C'mon! If I have to use ntbackup, why do I need Acronis for Exchange? Just let me speak with someone that's not using a script for an answer.
