Acronis Recovery for MS Exchange : Cannot bind with server

Thread needs solution

Been using Recovery for MS Exchange since May of 2011. Performing full mailbox backup on Sunday nights, incrementals the rest of the week.

Last successful full backup was on 1/1/2012.
Last successful incremental backup was on 1/7/2012.

Ever since then, the error message I see in the logs is 45 (0x12002D) Cannot bind with server.

Server is fine and I can bring up Acronis on it.

I've checked our internal database for such error: it was reported only once and appeared after the successful backup. So we'll need some additional information. Do you mind forwarding us the logs? 

Close all Acronis Windows

- Stop the Acronis Services. (start > run > services.msc > stop )

- Go to:

\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\DatabaseBackup\Fomatik\

Move the "MsExchangeBackup.dll" to a different folder.

- Download, extract the Special DLL to the folder above.

- Start All Acronis Services

- Reproduce the issue.

- Create an Acronis Info using AcronisInfo Utility.

This should shed the light onto the situation.
