Hi All,
I have exchange server 2003 installed and i want to take the backup with Acronis Enterprise server 9.1 with universal restore. Actually i want to be able restore exchange server on bare metal.

Can any one guide me what are the steps and pre caution about the backup to be a successful backup.
Also what windows services need to be run and what to be stop. For excample VSS.

I would advise you to refer to the following KB article, as it has all the instructions required for successful backup and recovery with the help of Acronis True Image Server version.

Please also note that Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server is an outdated version, it's no longer developed, updated and supported anymore, thus in case of the technical issue we will not be able to provide you with any help except the suggestion to test the newest corporate version: Acronis Backup and Recovery Advanced Server.
