Exchange backups not working automatically

Thread needs solution

Each night when the Acronis Exchange backup runs a pop-up box appears that says:

Please connect console to {servername} and choose Press Retry when ready or press Cancel to cancel the operation.

After pressing retry and cancel a few times the backup will begin.

I have to do this every time for the backup to run. These are set to run late at night when I should be in bed!!!!

It's backing up to an external drive that's connected via USB to the server.

This is on Acronis for Ms Exchange Build 239 (upgraded from 230 to try to fix this). Windows Server 2008 Standard SP2 w/Exchange 2007 SP1

I have attached the Acronis logs gathered by the Acronis info utility.

Please Help!!!

Hello Bradley!

Thank you for finding time to join us, we're glad to greet you here. I completely understand how inconvenient this situation is and will be glad to help you.

Currently the only useful information in the logs is:
<message="Disk is full.
You must free additional disk space to continue. You can either empty the Recycle Bin or delete old data files. Please press Retry to try again or press Cancel to cancel the operation and stop.: Retry/Cancel" />

Could you please try to free the disk space and start the backup process once again?

Should it fail with the same message, please gather the following diagnostic information:

 1. Acronis Exchange logs
 2. Acronis Info from the Agent machine

Then either send this information to us or contact support directly with it attached. Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify us the case number. We will do our best to speed up the process.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

Thank you for the reply. It has ran out of space at times if I haven't cleared out previous backups. However it is still giving the message even with the space available to it.

I have attached the system information and the entire contents of the Program Data\Acronis folder.

At this time of day I am unable to attempt the backup to reproduce the error for the windows event viewer. It should be noted this error only occurs at a scheduled time. If I manually run the backup, I do not get this error.
