Hello Boghos Bo!

Thank you for opening the thread regarding this question!

Actually truncation of the transactions logs depends on the backup scenario you have specified.

In most cases transactions logs will be truncated, since creating an archive chain (full and incremental backups) is impossible with transaction logs not truncated after the first full backup. Acronis Recovery for MS Exchange guarantees the integrity of the backup chain only in a separate archive. Thus, creation of a new archive will start a new chain of backups. Acronis Recovery for MS Exchange behavior does not depend on what you want to back up (the entire information store or only a separate storage group). By default, transaction logs are truncated before creating such a chain to decrease the archive size and duration of the backup operation.

In case you need to keep transcation logs from trunctating, please, choose
Manual Options -> Additional Settings -> Do not truncate logs.

I would also advise you to find more information regarding this feature in the User's Guide, chapter 5.4.1.
