recovery for microsoft exchange error

Hi there,

I have recently downloaded the trial version of acronis recovery for microsoft exchange.

I have managed to install it with some problems.

The first error I have encountered was when installing the agent. When i tried to do the remotely installation, after copying the files, it gave the following error: "Connection to remote computer is broken. (0x45000A)".

I've searched in the folders of the target machine and i have found the file AcronisRecoveryMsExchangeAnget.msi. I've assumed it was the agent installation file so I executed it.

After installation I tried connect trough the acronis recovery for microsoft exchange management console and have successfully connected to the server, but when I try do anything, it gives me the error "Acronis Network connection terminated."

PS: I have the ExchangeMapiCdo installed

Unfortunately due to the lack of information it is difficult to identify the exact cause, but according to the information you have kindly specified I assume there is some glitch with permissions for the Agent.

We have a solution for it, and I would appreciate if you could kindly follow the instructions, specified in this article.

Also please make sure that you have MAPI version lower than 8153. For example, MAPI/CDO 6.5.8147.0 has been tested to work with Acronis Recovery for Microsoft Exchange. You can find more details here.

Should the issue persist, we will need to take a closer look at the issue, so could you please kidnly obtain the following information: 

  1. Wireshark output
  2. Acronis Info
  3. Exchange logs

After that please kindly contact support directly. Should there be any procrastination with the reply, please, let us know the case number, we will make sure it is handled in a proper way.
