Acronis Snap Deploy 5 (5.0.1,416) Not able to see NIC drivers

Thread needs solution

Hello i upgraded to the new Snap Deploy 5 but now some machines are not coming up when I try to deploy an image. The Dell Latitude E6540 and Dell Optiplex 7020 and Dell Precision T1700 are the machines. It seems these might have new drivers for the NIC that are not included with Snap Deploy 5? Is there a test build I can receive so I can start imaging our machines?

Thanks.

Hello, Aaron

As far as I understand, those machines cannot be booted from Snap Deploy 5.

Please clarify what was used to boot those machines: Linux-based Bootable CD or PXE? Can they be booted when using WinPE-based bootable CD/PXE?

Probably, WinPE-based bootable media can help. To create it, please refer to the User Guide:
http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ASD5/index.html#3048…

You can also add necessary drivers for NICs manually while creating the bootable media.

To investigate the issue, please contact our Support team.

Best regards.

Is there a beta build that you can send me? In the past I have received a build via PM. I don't want to go WinPE route because I will be imaging hundreds of machines all at the same time I want to be able to use the CD method.

Hello, Aaron

Could you please clarify what version and build of Snap Deploy is installed on your system now?

Best regards.
