Acronis Snap Deploy 5 "Waiting for Machines"

Thread needs solution

Hi, I'm very new to this so bear with me. We have a backup server that only has Acronis Snap Deploy 5 on it. We also have a serperate dhcp server. We have a network that spans many cisco switches and routers. I am trying to PXE boot a machine. After disabling HDD boot and such, it will try to boot PXE. It says "Start PXE over ipv4" All seems well there. On the Backup server there is a Deployment task to send the image of that machine but it stays on "Waiting for Machines" Is there anything I can check to make sure everything is setup correctly? Im more of a network guy but I was able to verify the vlan is setup with an ip helper address for the DHCP server and the machine does get an ip I can see on the gateway. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Hello Kenny,

welcome to Acronis forums!

The "Waiting for Machines" status means that the task has started but is waiting for machines to become ready. This state occurs in the following cases:

- A task that performs deployment to a specified list of machines waits until the machines are woken up or reboot into the bootable environment.

- A task that performs deployment to a number of any ready machines waits until this number is reached.

Please specify deployment start conditions in the deployment template and make sure that there is Deploy to the machines that are ready is selected and the respective (for your environment) the Wait for the readiness time is set.
