complete remove of Acronis Snap Deploy

Thread needs solution

Hi everyone,

i have an problem with the complete remove of Acronis Snap Deploy.
We used it serval years ago to deploy software, now we have an other system to do this.
So we removed the client from all computers and thought the deploy agent is completely deleted.
After the installation of our new Exchange programm, the pc is 10 min trying to get an connection to the deploy server at every system startup.
You can`t find it in the Program Files or in the startup services with msconfig.
So how can i remove it completly?

best regards

Hello Siegfried,

No worries, I will assist you with this situation to get it resolved.

The cause is that you've removed Agent only, and left other components of Snap Deploy installed.

Please make sure that you've completely removed the following components via Add or Remove Programs:

- Acronis Snap Deploy Management Console

- Acronis OS Deploy Server is a component that performs centralized deployment through the
network with the help of Acronis Snap Deploy Agents.

- Acronis Snap Deploy Management Agent

- Acronis License Server

- Delete the following folders:

\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis
\Program Files\Acronis

- Start->Run->regedit and delete the following brunch

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->Acronis

 - Reboot your PC

This should help. Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.

Thank you.

We just purchased 50 licenses of the Snap Delpoy. Before installing it on the new machine, how do I remove the .lic file on the old? I want to completely delete all of the program and the license files. The old computer is going to be transferred out and used a workstation.

To test, I've uninstalled the software and reinstalled it on our test machine, the license file is still there. Is there a removal tool?
