Computer naming and templates

We plan to use Snap Deploy 4 for our imaging needs. I'd like to use the templates feature in conjunction with PXE booting to make our imaging process simple. We have 4,000+ computers and are a big orgization, so we do have specific standards regarding the way our computers are configured.

I would like to know if there is a way I can set our templates ask for the computer name each time. The other settings like change SID, adding to the domain, etc.. I plan to use on most templates. We name our computers based on the serial number, locaton, and OS. When techs are installing an image I'd prefer if they could manually input the name rather than having to rename the computer after it's all said and done. I understand how wild cards and all that works, but being able to specify the computer name would suit our process better.

The only way that I can think of is to run sysprep or just give it a generic name like we do in our organization and deploy to a Workgroup first, instead of already attaching to the domain. I would also recommend setting up a separate network for imaging, off of the domain, so that you are not using network resources from your domain.
