Dell Latitude E6510 - NIC driver appears to not exist in boot media

Thread needs solution

I am trying to take a master image of a Latitude E6510, however it appears as if the boot media (I am using a boot CD w/ Acronis Master Image Creator) does not include the necessary NIC drivers for this model. When I boot into the CD I get a message saying something like, "no pcmcia driver in /proc/devices", and the NIC is not detected. Please advise.

Hello Donny,

Thank you for posting. I will definitely help you with resolving this issue.

You are right, the bootable media does not have the necessary drivers for your NIC model. In such situations we suggest to update the bootable components, re-create the media and if it still does not work, ask our Customers to collect this report and contact our Support team so that we can include the drivers in the bootable media.

I will follow-up with instructions for updating the bootable components via a private message in a few minutes because it requires generating unique links. I would really appreciate if you can post additional questions in this forum thread which is our main discussion point regarding NIC detection in Acronis Snap Deploy 3.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
