Dell Optiplex 7010 restore failed - "Windows failed to start"

Thread needs solution

I am running the trial version and this is my first attempt at a deployment. I built the image and saved it on the network. I booted the target PC on an Acronis Deploy CD and set up the deployment to match to the first available. The image was restored, but failed.

I created another deployment task entry. I reviewed all the settings and unchecked the option to "Convert disk to GPT if target disk is larger than 2TB" as the disk is only 465 GB. I waited, but nothing happened. I created a third deployment task entry same as the second, but again nothing happened even though the target PC showed itself as ready for deployment both times.

I looked at the tab for Deployment tasks and saw the last result for the first task was "Failed". I deleted the 2nd and 3rd deployment tasks, edited the first task, and then tried to force the first task to run, but it continues to fail.

I've attached the a screen shot of the master hard drive layout which is identical to the target image. I've also attached the log file.

Why is this process failing?

Hello Tim,

please check if the deployment in unicast mode is successful.

If so, please check if your network is multicast ready.

Thank you.
