Deployment GPT

Thread needs solution

Hello,
On a laptop (Dell latitude E6330), I manually installed the system (Windows 7 32 Bit MBR partition type) then I made a backup with Acronis.
When I deploy the image, the disc automatically converted to GPT,or, I made the backup from an MBR partition type.
The system does not start, even when I pass the UEFI BIOS.
How to me it déploi image on MBR partitions and no GPT?
This problem appears only on this type of PC...

Hello,

1. Please clarify, does the target machine support UEFI?
2. Also, disabling option "Convert disk to GPT if target disk is larger than 2TB" makes sense.
3. Some cases of deploying disks of a BIOS-based system to UEFI-based and vice versa are described in the User Guide: http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ASD5/index.html#3048…
4. If System Reserved partition is present on the source machine (Dell latitude E6330), then make sure that this partition is deployed to the target machine as well.
5. Please clarify the error what the PC fails to boot with. If necessary (e.g. if the PC automatically reboots while Windows loading), disable "Automatic restart on system failure" to see what error occurs (to see how to disable it, refer to the article http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/advanced-startup-options-inc…)

Best regards.
