Deployment of a master image created with Snap Depoly 5

Thread needs solution

Hallo,

after the deployment of an image to the PC (Intel Nuc D54250 WYK) the audio devices disappear. In the Control Panel Device Manager the devices are no longer listed, but they are now listed under System Devices with a little yellow triangle and exclamation mark. I'm not sure whether this problem came out after the update to version 5_1656 or to the previous version, it was definitely not the case in Snap Deploy 4.

If you "generalize" the system at deployment, it will revert the custom drivers of the image to default generic Windows drivers. This is by design so that you can deploye a single image to different or unique hardware.  If your image was taken on hardware that will be deployed to the exact same type of hardware, you do not need to generalize during the deployment and you wont' have the yellow triangles then.  The yellow triangles are informing you that you need to install drivers for those devices.

I am currently using Acronis Snap deploy and CloneZilla live CD to image and deploy Dell machines that are OEM's. All the machines depending on the processor have different images and software on them. Im ok with that I can manually reinstall the software for the new user using the machine I just...
