Deployment Task Fails / Speed issue
I freshly Installed the test version on my testing network.
All runs fine until a deployment is scheduled.
First it finds the remote computer showing 0% in the console looking like deployment is about to start, but then stops with following error which i would translate as:
Message: There is no Acronis Snap Deploy 4 License Server installed on "
I reinstalled the License Server but same error again.
My Server Name is of course different than " but i cannot find where to set it in ASD
Here is the original Log Message:

Hello Marco,
Thank you for posting and welcome to the forum.
It is possible the OS Deploy Server is not picking up your license server correctly. I would recommend uninstalling the OS Deploy Server component and when re-installing it providing the I.P. address of the License server.
If you continue to experience this issue please contact our Support team with this report.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.

Hello and thanks for your answer.
The error stayed after reinstalling the OS Deploy Server component with manual IP input.
Even the complete de- and reinstallation of the whole ASD4 product did not help.
I had to revert the computer from backup into a state prior to the initial ASD4 install and reinstall with standard settings. Suddenly it worked.
Now deployment started as expected using multicast to 5 machines but only with very low rates around 1mb/sec on the gigabit ethernet.
Image creation was running fine with 60mb/sec.
Any hints upon how to increase the deployment speed ?
Machines are all Fujitsu Esprimo P7935 with onboard Intel gigabit ethernet.
Targets booted the Agent via PXE
regards m.
Edit: Users in http://forum.acronis.com/forum/21247 had same problems. Was this ever solved ?
Edit2: After disconecting the gigabit switch with the ADS4 computers on from other network segments speed suddenly raises to ~15MB/s. But i cannot accept this as a solution for productive work.

Marco,
I would go to http://support.microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall and run the Microsoft "Fix It" utility to completely uninstall the Acronis License Server components and then reboot your server and try installing the Licensing software. If this does not help, you will probably need to contact Acronis support by phone(you should have a maintenance contract with them that covers support).
As far as network speed goes, click on my name and you will see the topics that I have responded to on this subject matter. There is some useful information in these topics.
Good luck!

Hello Marco and Michael,
Thank you for your comments and thank you for your help Michael.
Marco, the deployment speed decrease could be caused by some other network activity in your subnet and some packets are getting lost. The OS Deploy Server re-sends them causing the drop in speed.
You can also check the standalone utility to localize the issue with the network speed.
If you still need help with the License Server issue please contact our Support Team.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.
