Error E000400111 with standalone deployment (Build 3292)

Thread needs solution

Hi

I'm trialling Snap 3 for PCs using Build 3292. I created the master image, created the PXE Server. The master image was created and stored on a removable storage drive and the image was verified successfully. So far so good....

I now have come across two very frustrating issues -

1. When looking to deploy the image using PXE the PC finds the PXE server. I choose to deploy the Deploy Agent and configure it to do so. The PC then just sits there stating "Processing Please Wait". A reboot of the PC has no effect...I gave up after seeing this screen for 20mins.

2. From this I decided to install via a stand-alone deployment. I get into the stand-alone deployment tool, chose the image I created and start to process. I then get the error message "E00040011 - Specified file does not exist. Please insert last media of the archive and click retry to continue". What does this mean ? The image created was done on the same removable storage device that is now directly attached to the PC I'm trying to install.

Any help would be very much appreciated....am scratching my head to say the least !!

Hello Richard,

Welcome to our forum and thank you for your post. I will do my best to assist you with this.

I have found an open support case that you created with us recently, and if I am not mistaken, point 1 was resolved by updating the Acronis Snap Deploy 3 Bootable components.

There is no mention of point 2 in the case, I guess this has been resolved? Usually this message comes up if the backup is corrupt, or, multiple backup files were created with one of the files in the chain being either deleted or corrupt. We suggest to put the backup to a different backup location (internal hard drive) and see if this resolves the issue. Also, there is an option to check the master image, you can do it from the main Snap Deploy 3 Management Console view.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.

Thank you.
