Hangups or crashes/fail-outs during image deployment. Network card driver issues

Thread needs solution

Hi,

We recently upgraded our standard laptop and desktop models to include Dell Optiplex 9020, Lattitude E7440, and the Precision T3610. I upgraded to Snap Deploy 4 Build 540 in hopes that it would resolve my issues, however, it has not. I have followed instructions in previous posts and built a bootable CD that allows these PCs to boot into the console and then I can push a deployment from our Snap Deploy server. However, our helpdesk does most of our deployments through the user initiated deployment and an acronis PXE server because its easier and faster than having a systems admin kick off each PC's deployment one at a time.

My question is this: How do I inject the known-working NIC drivers for these Dell PCs into my existing Acronis PXE environment so that we can continue to use user initiated deployment for imaging our PCs ? And not have to our helpdesk technicians come back to the system admins in order to kick of each PC reimage ?

Thanks, I do appreciate your help.

Hello Tim,

thank you for your posting and welcome to Acronis Forum!

You can create a custom WinPE media with correct NIC drivers and upload it to PXE server as it is described here.

If it doesn't help, please check your private messages. I sent you a download link of Acronis Snap Deploy 4 update.

Thank you.
