Having trouble adding drivers to WinPE image

Thread needs solution

I'm trying to create a bootable USB WinPE image with custom drivers for a Dell Precision 5510 with a Toshiba 'NVEe THNSN5512GPUK NV' SSD.

I was able to create a standard WinPE iso and create a bootable USB with it. I can boot into the 5510, but I can't see the SSD. So, I've been trying to added the necessary drivers to do so.

I'm using the .inf driver files.

I've attached a sample from the logs.

Any Suggestions?

~Thanks!

Hello Matt,

Thank you for your posting! What build of Acronis Snap Deploy is used to create a WinPE? Please double-check the version of Acronis Media Builder component, it might haven't been updated.

Thanks for the response.

I am using Snap Deploy build 1749

However, I can't figure out how to check the version of the Media Builder component.

Hi,

Installation of Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Management Console also includes the media builders, so if the console is 1749 then the builder should be also up to date.

How are you adding the drivers into the .iso? I'd suggest taking a look at the procedure described by one of Acronis True Image users, who has successfully added the same driver pack to a WinPE-media.

Here you'll also find some tips of how to use DISMGUI for drivers injection.
