High Deployment Failure Rate / Glitchy Management Console
We have been using Snap Deploy 5 for several months and over the summer I deployed 250+ images successfully. With some of the older laptops I was used to seeing a failure rate of about 20% or so when done in batches of about 8 machines, that I attributed mostly to older hard drives that should probably be replaced. However, most of those that failed the first time were successful the second or third try.
Lately though the failure rate seems to be increasing even on the newer desktop machines. It has become common to have to deploy three or four times when doing just a single machine. For a while now also a machine that the console says received a successful deployment does not shut down afterward as the other machines do properly. These machines come back to the Acronis Agent screen but when restarted change their SIDs as they should and work fine otherwise with no sign of corruption.
Lately there have also been a few cases where according to the console a deployment fails early on in the process - but the agent on the machine continues on for the fully deployment, sometimes with practical success.
Most of the images have been pretty standard Windows 7 with Office at about 14 GB. The server is a virtual Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard physically located in the room next door and we have not experienced any network issues with any other applications. The speed has been fine. We are set to Unicast throttled to 50MB. This server doesn't have too much else on it and typically the CPU usage is very low.
These issues do not generate error messages in the log. I have included two representative clips from the log. One is a success, the other a failure.
What should I check next to find the cause of this unpredictability? I like the software but reliability is definitely an issue here.
Thanks.

Hello, Colin
As far as I understood, some random machines does not shut down after deployment.
This is a known issue. Our development team is working on it. (ticket ASD-2797)
