How do I deploy to a unformated drive with Snapdeploy

Thread needs solution

I have many different computers that come in with a blank unformatted disk that I need to apply an Acronis image to.

Acronis does not appear to see the drive if it is not formatted.

Is there any way to format the drive as part of the imaging process?

Can I use the Linux CMD option for the bootable drive to format the drive as a first step?

This is a very big issue as many of the PCs that I interact with are unformated.

Thanks,

Matt

Since there seems to be no way to handle a raw drive I have started looking for some way to load bootable media and format the drive beforehand.

I have tried two that I have used in the past many times, Gparted and PartionMagic.  Both successful format the drive where Acronis can now see it but when I try to apply the image it tells me that it Cannot deploy it do removable media.  I am deploying to an SSD...

Why would it be flagging it as a removable device after formatting?

HI everyone.  There is a sticky with the 1666 beta release available now.  Anyone having issues with getting newer Intel Nic's to be identified, or using PCIE NVME drivers should grab 1666.
