I have not had 1 successful restore of a master image. :(

I have no problems creating master images. I have created 4 different master images from 2 different PCs and 2 different laptops. I store them on a Drobo device. They never fail to create.

However, I have not had 1 successful restore of a master image. I've tried different workstations, different laptops, it always fails somewhere between 20 and 60%. The error log shows different messages. Sometimes it says Chuck Count Mismatch. Other times it says The User has Cancelled the Install (which is not true, we never cancel it).

We had some network problems so I attributed the errors to bad network switches. However 2 weeks ago we finished swapping out the final switch in our network. Every switch has been replaced in between the workstations and the deployment server.

There must be something else on my network preventing this from finishing. I have the images residing on a Drobo device, but I have also tried moving the image to the deployment server itself.

I boot each device from the Drobo CD because I never figured out how to set up the PXE server. All of that part works fine, it starts with no problem.

I use all defaults for the template and task.

Any ideas? I'm out of ideas over here.
