Issues after updating to 1660 and Intel 219 NIC

Thread needs solution

Hi from reading on here it looks like the NIC's in the new laptop deplyment we're doing dont have supported NIC's so I'll need the 1666 if possible, but after upgrading to 1660 from 1416 I now cant PXE boot any of our existing laptops, when trying to boot the PXE agent I get the attached error. I have removed the agent in the PXE Server and recreated it as per the instructions, but still with the same outcome. Appreciate any assistance!

Hi Ben, I'll send you the beta via PM.

After upgrading over the top of what you have, go back and remove just the PXE component, reboot and then reinstall the PXE component on its own again. that should get it working (sounds like you may have done that already, but did you reboot between as well?)

You also want to check to see if you are PXE booting in UEFI or legacy mode as there are options to use both on local systems.  May want to try enabling (or disabling) ipv6 on the deployment pxe server too.

And for us, we have a lot better luck when we use unicast instead of multicast.
