Licensing Issue

Thread needs solution

When attempting to deploy an image, I am getting an error "no free licenses found". However if I go into the Manage Licenses there are five available licenses under the heading "Acronis Snap Deploy 3.0" but none under the "Acronis Snap Deploy 3.0 (English)". Why won't the available licenses work?

Welcome to the forum and thank you for posting. I will definitely help you with resolving this issue.

Most likely it occurs because the build numbers of Acronis Snap Deploy Agent and Acronis OS deploy server are different. This can easily be fixed by following the steps from this KB article.

However, if you are still having problems, can you send me a private message with a screenshot of the Acronis Snap Deploy License Server so that I can see the availability of all the licenses and also please let me know what OS you are deploying and your build of Acronis Snap Deploy 3.

I am also having the same issue. I get a message "no free licenses" when I have 50 or so free. I have uninstalled Acronis and reinstalled and also made a new boot CD and everything is the same version. I also removed some of the licenses and put them back using the serials.txt file on Acronis website and I still can't get it to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for posting and welcome to our forum. I will certainly take care of this issue for you.

In addition to my post above, can you send me some additional screenshots please:

1. Build number of the management console.

2. Screenshot of the no free licenses error.

3. When creating bootable media, please create a screenshot of the wizard menu that shows that build numbers of the media.

You can also verify that the amount of Snap Deploy 3 Upgrade licenses is equal to the amount of Snap Deploy 2 licenses in your Acronis Snap Deploy 3 License server.

Most likely this issue is caused by lack of licenses in the Acronis Snap Deploy 3 License Server.

Please send me a private message with a screenshot of the License server, please make sure it is fully visible so that I can view all the licenses there. You may need to create several screenshots of that.

Just wanted to follow-up for our forum community, I replied to your private message also.

After checking the licenses in your screenshots, it appears that deployment fails because our software cannot find available licenses. Even though you have added Acronis Snap Deploy 3 Upgrade licenses to the license server, the program needs to have access to the previous version's licenses. This is how Acronis works with upgrade licenses.
