Management Agent Will Not Install

Thread needs solution

We're rebuilding our Snap Deploy server and for some reason, The Management Agent piece will not install. We're using build 3329.

I'm at Specify License Server (which is the local machine) and I click next. I then receive an error stating:

"Prior to the installation of a licensed Acronis component you must install Acronis License Server and import serial numbers to it. For more information, see Installation Guide. To use trial versions of the software you must register with Acronis. Click the 'Register' button below. After that you will receive the message with trial serial number." [Register] [Cancel]

The License Server piece is installed and has 14 licenses available.

FWIW, we'll be running everything off of this one system, a WinXP laptop.

Any help would be great appreciated.

Thank you for reporting about the issue! I will be glad to help.

Usually such inconvenience occurres in case it cannot find the License Server. Unfortunately it's hard to say for sure what went wrong due to the lack of diagnostic information, but before we start the investigation I would suggest you to do the following:

  1. Reinstall License Server (if possible, to any other machine)
  2. Reinstall OS Deploy Server with pointing onto License Server

Should the issue persist, please gather the following data:

  1. Screenshot of the License Server
  2. Exact sequence of steps performed

After that please kindly contact support directly with the information attached. Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify us the case number. We will do our best to speed up the process.
