"missing operating system" when deploying win7 enterprise x64

We have been deploying win7 enterprise 32 bit version using acronis 4.268 for several months with no problems. I have since set up an x64 bit image and uploaded it to v 4 acronis server (on windows 2008 R2 server). When I restore the image, whether using universal restore to several different platforms, or not using universal restore to another identical computer, the cloned machines report "missing operating system" at boot.
snap deploy returns error code 8 module 51 failed to register snap deploy. Ideas please. thanks
