Mixed results on the test machines

Thread needs solution

We have a 2008 server r2 64 doing the snap deploy server, license, pxe. it is also the dhcp. image files are stored on a nas. client boxes are xp with sp3. pxe service is started, with program showing turned on at about 8:50, with the server set to boot them into the agent. Scheduled tasks start at 9:01 for #1, 9:04 for #2 and 9:06 for #3. the images take about 1/2 hour to run, so we issue windows task to shutdown and restart the machines in agent mode at about 9:10. We stop the pxe server service at about 9:30. Doing this manually works fine. All systems deploy correctly.
when left to run using the windows tasks and acronis scheduled task, Wed, Thur and Fri ran fine, saturday 1 and 3 ran ok, 2 stopped on the Agent screen. the user cancelled the job and rebooted to windows successfully. Sunday, 1 stopped, but when cancelled, it could not find the disk to boot. i was able to get it running by manually restarting the acronis pxe service, booting the pc, then deploying the image which worked successfully. Tonight i monitored the processes. 1 and 2 failed, 3 proceeded successfully. from the log: 1 queried, then 2 notified clients not deployed, then 1 joined, then 2 was removed from job, then a WOL error (we are not using WOL??). 1 joined again, then 1 was removed, then an error that 1 failed with this "Error code: 20
Module: 51
LineInfo: E3394061D0E3A2F8
Message: Failed to access FileServer 'tmpl::DeployServer:49,950'.

After 3 finished, i restarted the pxe server service, set both jobs 1 and 2 to run, and they deployed successfully.

anyone else having mixed results with SD4? Anyone know any answers? I did contact support. i have recieved a couple calls and talked/emailed. He has cleared up some not obvious misconceptions on my part based on other remote software for backup and anti-virus that i've worked with.

But i'm confused as to how this stuff changes when it was working ok, then not, then manually, then sometimes according to plan for 1, but not 2?
i don't have time to keep close tabs on this software, so i'm looking for answers, or for someone to tell me it doesn't work well on auto pilot.
