Network Drive or card not detected - Create Master Image workaround/solution

Thread needs solution

Just thought I would share my solution to this problem during my attempt to create a master image from one of my clients.

I had a Toshiba A200 laptop which would PXE boot via the Acronis Snap Deploy PXE server just fine but then not detect the network card.

Next step, I created a PE image in Acronis Snap Deploy with the laptop network drivers and uploaded that to the Acronis PXE Server. But again, when selecting Create Master Image it failed to detect the network. So I select Command Line Mode from the menu and found it odd that I could ping my server so the client was obviously on the network. From the command line I mapped a drive letter via:

net use %drive letter% %network folder%
(inputting my domain admin username and password when prompted).

Typed: exit

Back to the PE Acronis Menu I selected Create Master Image again. This time the mapped drive letter was available and I created the master image there!

Hopefully this may help someone else experiencing the same issue.
