Not able to create a deployment - stuck at please enter credentials

Thread needs solution

I have an almost fully working snap deploy, but when I try to create a deployment I am getting a dialog asking "specify credentials the task will use to run". It default to my domain\username, and I have tried entering that password. It just says 'the username or password is incorrect'. I have tried a different username/password in the domain, and I have also tried the local administrator on the machine. No luck.

What username/password is it looking for?

This is the latest snap deploy 4, on a server 2008r2 machine. Everything else works so far - pxe, taking an image, creating a template. I am on the last step of actually deploying and stuck at this point.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Update:

I was able to get past this error one time last night. I un-joined the 2008r2 server from the domain, re-joined it, logged in as a different user (a domain admin, but a different one), and it worked, it accepted my credentials during the deploy task!

HOWEVER, I came in this morning, software still open / user still logged in, tried to deploy again and it is telling me 'invalid credentials' !!

I rebooted, same thing!

Finally, I tried dis-joining it again from the domain, back to 'workgroup'. I logged in as local 'administrator' and it works! It accepts my credentials. Not sure if it's going to stop working again, but why would it not like it when it's joined to the domain?
