PXE configuration
I cannot get a networked machine to boot using PXE. I just finished a fresh install of all components on 2003 server. What am I missing?
TIA,
Tim

Tim,
What chipset are your network cards using?

The 2 NICs are Intel PRO 1000 PT Dual Port Server Adapters circa 2006. I cannot get to the hardware unless I bring the machine down and take the NICs out. I have 3 ports configured as a Multi Link Trunk onto my production network for 3Gb throughput. The other port is solo and connected to my test network at 1 Gb. I am trying to PXE boot on the production network. Implicitly that means I have two different subnets on that server. How do I make sure that the PXE server is catering to my production network? My DHCP server is an entirely different box.

I have only just got SD4, so haven't installed it yet.
Are you at service pack level 2 for 2003, as this is required for SD4 to work?
If yes, then I suggest raising a support ticket.

I found post 8358 and removed the additional DHCP option (60) that I had added based on 3.x documentation and the PXE boot worked and imaged the machine. Now I just have to create an image that will apply correctly and not leave the "BOOTMGR is missing" message when I want to actually boot into the OS!
Yay! Off to create another post to fix that
