Just installed the ASD4 trial. I'm trying to do some testing.

The OS partition is about 40 GB but when I go to imaging it's trying to create an image of the whole HD which is 500GB. Anyway to tell it to only image used space and ignore the unused space? Thanks so much!

When completed, the image file size will only be the used space size. If you select the partition instead of the entire disk to image it should be fine.

The same thing scared me during my testing of SnapDeploy. Right before creating the image it said it was going to be 150GB (the size of the target machine's entire hard-drive) but upon completion it was just the used space, about 10-15gb on a clean/barebones Windows 7 install
