Snap Deploy 3 - Failed to download image / segment receiver failed

Thread needs solution

Hi there,

Since some time we've been using Snap Deploy3. Since yesterday we've updated to build 3470. Since then whenever we load an image to deploy to an set amount (6) of laptops it gives the following error:

0x640000 Remove client
0x330002 Failed to download image '99xxxxxxxx'
0xFFFFFFFF Segment receiver failed.

One laptop keeps running the deployment and takes about 5 hours to deploy. Tried Unicast instead of Multicast and i've also allready reinstalled the Snap Deploy package.

Also, there is no difference in using custom deployment or manual deployment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Kind regards,

Rick van der Boor

Edit:

Deployment keeps hanging on 10% for about an hour. I've also tried different laptops and different OS's.
Sometimes we also get following error:
0x70020 Image corrupted

Dear Rick!

Thank you for finding time to open the thread regarding this issue, I will be glad to assist you.

It appears to be a network issue however, without additional information it is difficult to investigate it.

Please collect the following reports and contact our Support team so that we can help you with troubleshooting:

Please zip (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WinZip) the following log files that reside on the computer you have the Acronis OS Deploy Server component installed on:

    * Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\FileServer\Logs (in Windows Vista/2008 it is ProgramData\FileServer\Logs)
    * Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\DeployServer\ (in Windows Vista/208 it is ProgramData\DeployServer\)

Please obtain PCAP logs from Acronis OS Deploy Server machine when the issue occurs and specify the OS Deploy server machine IP address (see Acronis Knowledge Base Article: http://kb.acronis.com/content/1763).

Let me know if you have additional questions please.

Thank you.

Thanks Yana,

Attached you will find the files as requested. I'm not using Wireshark. The server is on it's own private network (Gigabit). Yes it is setup as a static ip. That won't be the issue.

Thanks

Problem solved. Switch was the issue. After installing a new one all problems were solved.

Thanks anyway,
