Snap Deploy 3 for Servers, Realtek GBe ethernet

Thread needs solution

I have a customer who has purchased a copy of ABR 10 Advanced Server. They are interested in using Snap Deploy 3 for servers to be able to restore their PC labs. The problem being, these PCs use Realtek GBe ethernet adapters. Everytime they try to connect using the Snap Deploy Agent (trial version), it refuses to acquire an IP address and will not find the OS Deploy server. Any assistance would be appreciated. The customer would be looking at purchasing approximately 400 licenses.

Dear Kory!

Welcome to Acronis Forum and thank you for finding time to report about the issue. We will definitely be glad to help you.

Unfortunately due to the lack of investigation information it is difficult to identify the exact cause of the problem. But according to the description you have kindly provided us with it looks like there is a lack of drivers in your installation.

In this case we need to update the Bootable Media and PXE server. I have found the case you have submitted and will send you the required instructions via it.

Also please note that in case you have a full version of the software, you can always register it here to your account and download updated Bootable Media from here.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!
