Snap Deploy 5 image deployment failing at various points on Elitebook 840 G6 laptops

Thread needs solution

Hello

I'm running snap deploy 5, and am having an issue imaging HP Elitebook 840 G6s.

The machines boot to the acronis PXE server, and i am able to start deployments, but the progress just locks up and fails between 0%~10%. This deployment works on other dekstops and laptops no problem, but HP Elitebook 840 G6's are continuously a problem.

Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

Hello Marshall,

thank you for posting on Acronis forгьы!

Most probably that disks of your HP Elitebook 840 G6s are not detected by Acronis Bootable Media that is loaded on your PXE. Please make sure that this Bootable Media is created with the latest available build of Acronis Snap Deploy 5.0 (Build #  2003).

If updating Acronis Bootable Media still does not solve this issue, please create WinPE-based Bootable Media and add specific Windows drivers .inf  for SCSI, RAID, SATA controllers required for detecting drives in your HP Elitebook 840 G6s.
