Snap Deploy agent locking me out of Domain

Thread needs solution

I am able to log into the management console and connect to the deploy server just fine. I am even able to create templates and and start imaging sessions some times. Still at random points I will be locked out of my companies Domain because of Snap deploy. I have checked every password saved that I know of through the program and made sure everything had the proper log on credentials. We did check out logs and it seems that the log in attempts are coming from the machine which the deploy server is installed on. It also seems to be coming from the Snap deploy agent according to the logs.

The deploy server is installed on a Server 2008 virtual machine. I don't know if this would have anything to do with it. Sometimes it will let me go though and image without an issue. There doesn't seem to be much of a pattern to it. The other issue I am seeing and maybe part of my original issue is that in my scheduled task tab I have about 8 " Invalid Script File!" warnings that I can't get rid of. They don't have an account tied to any of them and when I try to simply delete them the log shows " Logged user has no access rights to OS deploy server" . Though I can't get rid of it and it seems that they keep trying to start because every 2 seconds or so my mouse will turn to an hour glass and if I am clicked one of the tasks it will automatically select all of those tasks in that 2 seconds.

Any ideas to any of this?

Hello Jason!

Thank you for finding time to share you exerience with us. I completely understand your concern and will be glad to assist you.

Unfortunately due to the lack of information it is hard to say what exactly went wrong. So this situation requires investigation. Could you please gather the following information?

  1. Exact sequence of steps performed
  2. Screenshot of the issue (if possible)
  3. Acronis Info

" Invalid Script File!" error points on some traces left from the previous tasks. We can get rid of it by cleaning all traces, but it will require tasks recreation. If it's ok with you, please follow the below instructions:

  1. Download Scheduler Manager, run it through the console and issue the following command:
    task zap
This will clean all the traces
  2. Recreate the tasks

This may help to resolve the issue with Invalid script errors.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!
