Snap deploy failed to connect to Dell E6420

Thread needs solution

Hello,

Failed connect to Remote Install Service on "MACHINE01". Probably the remote computer is not accesible now or conection is blocked by firewall. (0x45000A)
Tag = 0x203858FE9CB88F37

This worked perfectly during testing so I am sure it is not a firewall issue.

Thank you

Hello Stacy,

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here. I understand your concern, and will be glad to help.

It looks like the driver's issue or the NIC settings conflict. In order to fix the issue please do the following:

  1. Download the updated bootable media from your account, and burn it onto the CD.
  2. Check the network settings to be specified correctly
Please find more details regarding the Network Settings on the bootable media in the User Guide, Chapter 5. Creating Acronis bootable media p. 39

Should the issue remain, please gather Acronis Linux Report from the updated media, submit a case with the information attached, and let us know it's number.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

Yana,

Thank you for your reply. The issues was that I had to configure the firewall to allow the Acronis services through.

This has been resolved.

Thank you

Hello,

I would like to re-open this issue. When booting from the ISO I downloaded from the Acronis my account page. The machine still does not see the NIC driver. Please assist.

Thank you
