Snap Deploy "Image Corrupted"

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I am trying to deploy an image to a new set of client computers and am running into problems here. I have successfully created an image by using the Master Image Creator. Everything, even the consistency check at the end, worked fine. As soon as I start to deploy that image I get stuck at 2 % with getting the message that the image is corrupted.

If I try to use the image check function of the Management Console I get the error message E0064022 telling me that the protocol is not supported. All other features of the Console are working fine. How do I get this function to work?

I am using the newest release of Snap Deploy 3 Workstation with Universal Deploy. Both Unicast and Multicast-Deployments show exactly the same problem.

Thanks in advance!

Simon

Hello Simon!

Welcome to Acronis Forum and thank you for finding time to open the thread regarding this issue, I will be glad to assist you!

This issue could have been caused by several reasons, but most likely there is some connection issue to the image location. Unfortunatlely I cannot say for sure due to the lack of diagnostic information. And I would appreciate if you could kindly provide us with the following clarification info:

  1. Acronis Info from the host machine
  2. Where the image is located
  3. Snap Deploy Agent log
  4. Wireshark output
  5. Please zip and send us the following log files that reside on the computer you have OS deploy Server component installed on
    - Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\FileServer\Logs (in Windows Vista/2008 it is ProgramData\FileServer\Logs)
    - Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\DeployServer\ (in Windows Vista/208 it is ProgramData\DeployServer\)

After you have obtained the information, please contact support directly, and, if possible, tell us the case number so that we could track the process of resolving the issue.

Let us know if something seems confusing - we will be glad to clarify!
