Snap Deploy Standalone Imaging problems.

Thread needs solution

Hi All

I am trying to deploy an image to a laptop here, and Snap deploy standalone is not recognising the hard drive It recognises the usb harddrive attached to the laptop and the DVD that contains the acronis software, however it does not recognise the Harddrive itself.

The laptop itself is new. Is it possible that acronis is not recognising the harddrive due to not having the IDE drivers?

Welcome to the forum and thank you for posting. I will do my best to assist you.

Yes, it is very possible, sometimes the bootable media lacks the proper hardware drivers in order to detect various hardware.

I would recommend the following solution:

1. Please make sure you are using the latest build which we released last week.

2. If the new build bootable media still fails to detect the hard drive, please collect the following report from that bootable media and contact our Support team so that we can investigate and resolve this issue.
