Snap Deploy workstations with Bacup & Recovery

Hi,

We are deploying some laptops using an image that we will create with Snap deploy. The laptops are also going to have Backup & Recovery installed on them.

Can B&R be installed prior to the snap deploy image been taken or will we need to do this afterwards? If so, are there any gotchas that anyone has encountered with this scenario?

I have searched around, but not found anyone who has done this.

If it's an advanced version, and is intended to be registered on the management server, there will be the one - the instance id will be the same on all machines after deployment, and you'll have to change it manually ( http://kb.acronis.com/content/11265 ). In case of standalone version, if it survives changing of machine name, I wouldn't expect any gotchas.

Thanks for your reply. As we are only deploying a small amount of computers I think we will just rollout Backup & Recovery after the Snap Deployment has completed. Probably be quicker then going through the changing the registy on them etc.
