TCP error

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I'm currently testing Snap deploy 3 (Build 3329).
Every now and again when deploying an image, I get the following error:

"Source "TCP://xxxxxxxxxxxx" is not reachable"
"Client "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" is not responding"

Following this error, the deploy process fails and stops.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Hello Kristian!

Welcome to our Forum and thank you for finding time to report about the issue! I understand your concern and will help you with pleasure.

The error points onto the connectivity issues. There can be different reasons for it, and in order to solve the issue we need to localise the cause. But before we proceed with investigation, I would appreciate if you could kindly switch the deployment mode from Multicasting to Unicasting (or vice versa) both in default options and in the template, and see whether the issue persists.

Should the problem remain, please gather

  1. OS Deploy Server logs
  2. Deployment Agent logs
  3. Wireshark

This information will show us the network activity and the deployment steps the product had already taken before failure.

After that please kindly contact support directly with the information attached. Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify us the case number. We will do our best to speed up the process.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

Has there been a resolution to this problem? I am having the same problem and it is pretty consistent.
